Army Ordnance Corps(AOC) 2023 Syllabus

• Numerical Aptitude : The test will ask you to solve problems involving number systems, computing whole numbers, decimals, and fractions, relationships between numbers, basic mathematical operations, percentages, ratios, and proportions, averages, interest, profit and loss, discounts, use of tables and graphs, measurement, ratio and time, time and work, and other topics.
• General Intelligence & Reasoning : It would include both spoken and non-spoken questions. One of the topics covered in the test is analogies and contrasts. Other topics covered in the test include spatial visualisation, problem-solving analysis, judgement, decision-making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship, concepts, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, etc. The exam will also include questions that test the candidate’s ability to work with abstract ideas and symbols, as well as how they relate to one another, perform mathematical calculations, and perform other analytical tasks, etc.
• General English : Candidates’ knowledge of the English language, including vocabulary, syntax, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, and proper usage, is important.
• General Awareness : Through a series of questions, the candidate’s overall understanding of their environment and its implications for society will be assessed. You will also be asked questions that will gauge how well you comprehend current events as well as your everyday observations and experiences in light of their scientific ramifications. The test will also contain questions on subjects pertaining to India and its neighbours, including sports, history, culture, geography, the economy, general policy, the Indian constitution, and other related subjects. These enquiries will be conducted without the requirement for any type of specialized knowledge.
