Indian Army Agneepath Scheme
For general duty, technical, aviation, and ammunition examiner, clerk/store keeper, and tradesman positions with a four-year contract, the Indian Army Agnipath or Agneepath plan is a recruiting procedure. 25% of the Agniveers will remain in the regular cadre after four years of duty in the Indian Army depending on merit, desire, and physical fitness. Indian Army Agniveer Medical Standards
- (a) A candidate should have a robust physique and good mental health.
- (b) Chest should be well developed having a minimum 5 Cms expansion.
- (c) Should have normal hearing with each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes. He should be able to read 6/6 in the distance vision chart with each eye. Colour vision should be CP-III.
- (d) Should have a sufficient number of natural healthy gum and teeth i.e. minimum of 14 dental points.
- (e) Should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele and varicocele or piles.
- (f) Should recognize red and green colours.
Indian Army Agniveer Salary
The financial compensation for candidates selected for Agniveer in the Armed Forces would start at Rs. 4.75 lacs in the first year and increase to about Rs. 6.92 lacs in the fourth year. In addition to the yearly compensation, the applicants will also get benefits including risk and hardship, ration, clothing, and travel benefits.
Seva Nidhi: The approximate cost of the Seva Nidhi package is Rs. 11.71 lakh, comprising (including, interest accrued on the aforementioned sum at the appropriate interest rates will also be paid).
