Educational Requirements: In accordance with the official AIESL notification, candidates must have earned an ITI, diploma, DGCA, B.Sc., BE, or B.Tech from any accredited university or board.
- Aeronautical/Mechanical/Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma, DGCA; Aircraft Technician (Maintenance/Overhaul & Avionics)
- Aircraft Technician (Avionics): DGCA offers a diploma program in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering with an emphasis on Avionics, Electrical and Electronics, Telecommunication, Radio, and Instrumentation Engineering.
- ITI is the technician for sheet metal, welding, carpentry, upholstery, and fitters.
- Technical: Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Physics, Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
